Wendy Cai
Wendy is an accomplished pianist and dedicated piano teacher with a strong background in both performance and education. Growing up in a musical family sparked her passion for the piano from a young age. She completed all AMEB Piano Performance grades by the age of 16 before auditioning for the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, where she graduated in 2012 with a Bachelor of Music (Piano Performance). During her studies, she trained under esteemed pianists Daniel Herscovitch, Lyall Duke and Yanghee Kim, refining both her performance skills and pedagogical techniques. She later pursued further studies in piano performance, earning her LTCL from ABRSM.
With over nine years of teaching experience, Wendy offers lessons for all AMEB and ABRSM Performance grades. Her teaching approach encourages students to see music from a broader perspective while building confidence in both technical proficiency and musical expression.
