Joseph Koo
Joseph began studying piano at the age of 11 and has since developed a deep passion for both piano and classical singing. For Joseph, music serves as a powerful medium to express the joys and pains of life in a safe and meaningful way. His teaching philosophy is rooted in the values of discipline and humility, which they strive to instill in their students.
Joseph has studied piano under Clemens Leske and Yanghee Lee and classical voice with Sena Lee and Andrew Goodwin. He has achieved an LTCL Piano Diploma with distinction and an ATCL Diploma in Classical Singing. With over seven years of experience teaching piano and singing, Joseph is known for his patient, friendly, and approachable nature, creating a safe and supportive environment for students.
As a performer, Joseph has showcased their skills as a singer and collaborative pianist in renowned venues, including the Sydney Town Hall, Chatswood Concourse, and North Sydney Hall. He has also served as a Bass Choral Scholar at St Stephen’s Church. His favorite repertoire includes Puccini’s La Bohème and Tchaikovsky’s four-hands piano duet.
