Amy Lee

Amy Lee is a violinist and a student at the University of Sydney, currently studying Law. She completed her Associate Performance Diploma in Violin, and following this, she received her Licentiate in Music in 2020. She has performed both locally and internationally, winning multiple prizes at Eisteddfods, as well as participating in multiple events to build further experiences in the musical field. Amy was invited to join the Rising Stars program at the Conservatorium of Music, and was a student of Dr Evgeny Sorkin. She received her first international prize in Golden Classical Music Awards International Competition, and was invited to perform at the Carnegie Hall in New York. Following this achievement, she once again received a first prize in the International Music Competition Grand Prize Virtuoso and performed at the Mozarteum, Salzburg. She continued to receive multiple prizes in Australian Eisteddfods, such as the Ryde Eisteddfod, St George Instrumental Eisteddfod, Lake Macquarie Eisteddfod, Inner West Eisteddfod, 75th Bathurst Eisteddfod, Cowra Eisteddfod and the Great Composers Competition.

Amy is a qualified musician who graduated with 8 years of Music Scholarship at her school and 1st place internally in the HSC Music 2 and Extension course. Her strong motivation and passion for teaching align seamlessly with her desire to guide her students, and her teaching philosophy revolves around enhancing students' musical repertoire and technique while ensuring that the learning process remains enjoyable and fulfilling. Driven by the profound joy of providing students with the opportunity to unfold their musical potential and achieving individual goals, she will be able to foster an environment that allows students to thrive in their musical journey.
